【生地について】

国内最大の綿織物産地である北播磨地域で生産された薄地織物は「播州織」と呼ばれ、200年以上前から糸を先に染めてから織る先染めという技法で発展してきました。（柄がはっきり出て、色落ちしにくいのが先染め織物の長所です）播州は、糸染めから製織、後加工という殆どの工程を地域内で一貫して行うことが出来る稀有な産地です。この生地は、表面に微起毛加工を掛けてふんわりとした触感に仕上げられています。薄地で毛羽も強くないので夏場以外は通年着用頂けます。

Banshu-ori Weave
Banshu-ori is the specific name for the light fabrics produced in Kita-Harima, a district of Nishiwaki City, Hyogo which is the largest cotton textile production area in Japan. It has developed over the past 200 years using the yarn-dyeing technique, in which the yarn is dyed first and then woven. It is particularly known for its high-quality shirt fabrics using delicate, fine yarns. Although made from 100% cotton, the fabric has a silky and wet feel. Our collection focuses on fabrics with patterns that can only be made with yarn-dyeing.

【カタチについて】

みんふの主役は"テキスタイル"ですので、デザインはなるべくシンプルに、そして生地の無駄が出ないよう直線裁ちという和裁の手法を一部用いています。

直線裁ちでありながらも、なるべく身体に沿うように肩線やアームホールに前後差をつけ立体的に縫製をしています。

Since the main focus of Minfu is on textiles, the design is kept as simple as possible, incorporating a Japanese sewing technique known as 'straight cutting' to minimize fabric wastage.

When employing the straight cutting method, we emphasize three-dimensional sewing, creating a front-to-back difference in the shoulder line and armholes to ensure that the garment closely follows the contours of the body.

みんふの衣服に性別区分はありません。
日本人の平均身長帯である157cm〜172cmの方が過不足なく着用頂けるようパターンメイキングをしています。
体型は千差万別ですので、ゆったりめにつくりご自身で調節頂けるように工夫しました。

※155cm以下/痩せ型体型の方には大きいつくりです。
大変恐縮ですが、販売会でのご試着をおすすめします。

Minfu garments do not have any gender divisions.
Our patterns are designed to fit the average height of Japanese people, which ranges from 157-172 cm.
To accommodate different body shapes, our garments are intentionally loose-fitting, allowing for easy adjustments.

However, if you are under 155cm or have a slender build, the garment may appear oversized.
We apologize for any inconvenience and recommend trying on the garments at a sales event.

【ブランドについて】

みんふは、日本諸国で脈々と製織されている素朴で実直な生地をつかって、ここちいい睡眠環境に導く衣服を日々研究開発している岡山県の小さなプロダクトレーベルです。
デザイナー自身がくらしに寄り添う布を日本各地の機屋から収集し、日本人の縫製チームが必要な分だけこしらえ、自分たちで販売しています。
古来から日本で使われてきた”寝間着”を「着用することで生活に折り目が付き、自然にくらしのリズムが生まれる服」と再定義し、みなさまにご提案します。

Minfu is a small product label in Okayama, Japan dedicated to the research and the develoment of clothing that serves to a comfortable sleeping environment. 

We re-define, produce and propose "Nemaki", Japanese sleepwear used from old times, as clothes that modulates the pace of everyday life and naturally forms the daily rhythm.

We collect simple and honest textiles from various parts of Japan that have been woven for generations. Using them, we, Minfu designer and sewing team, together produce and sell just the right, necessary amount of clothes.
